Help Us Keep Local Theatre Alive!

Mountain Misfits Theatre Company charges no upfront cost to theatres for hosting our shows. To further help keep the doors open in our local venues we hope to make the process of booking as simple and cost effective as possible. Instead of charging a flat fee up front, we offer a 50/50 split of the house for each run of the production. This means that the venue takes 50% of the total income from tickets sold and we take 50%. Further, the venue keeps 100% of their merchandise or concession income and we keep 100% of our merchandise sales. Both Mountain Misfits Theatre and the venue share the responsibility of advertising the productions in that locale. Digital and physical posters will be shared with the venue to be utilized for the run of the production.

This allows for local venues to endure less financial stress associated with up front costs while bringing unique, professional theatrical productions and increased audiences to each community in our region.

Although if you would prefer to pay upfront to bring us to your space or for your event, we would be more than happy to talk pricing with you!

Fundraising Opportunity!

Lastly, as part of our commitment to community works and spreading art, we would also love to work with organizations with connections to venues for our performances to be used as fundraisers. We are willing to extend the 50/50 split offer, or an upfront cost can be arranged if it is prefered.
